Welcome!

Name
Geert Jan van Oldenborgh (for non-Dutch people: that's a double first name, and I use both; I expect to be alphabetized under 'O'. However, experience has also taught me not to expect too much...).

On June 22, 1997, our son Elwin was born. He is fine, and my wife has also recovered well (summer 1999, it took some time).

Short CV:

This page will fill up as vanity allows. For the time being have a look at the Javanese Music Review and some particle physics programs I wrote, FF and WWF, available by anonymous ftp. There's also a introduction to Form, a formula-crunching program that I use. For a less serious look at physics, see my wine preprint. A lot of my HEP papers can be found on the unsurpassed e-print server in Los Alamos.

You could also visit my brother, or my "cousin" Marc, who can provide you with a flashy and user-friendly site for a modest price.

HTML 3.2 Checked! Should look OK in lynx.

No problems with Netsurfer!

I personally am not allowed to use Microsoft Internet Explorer but it should work like a charm
